Some time ago a nasty looking wart was growing on my forehead and seed to get bigger daily (approx 1cm wide and nearly the same depth) I was asked to try Neem oil so I mixed 1 teaspoon vaseline with 4 drops Neem. Used it several times daily. Much to my delight, it fell out. So after that experience I keep a bottle of your Neem handy. Keep up the good work

I have been using the Neem Shampoo and leaf extract on my daughter's hair and scalp. She has a skin complaint known as psoriasis, I have tried several products including prescriptions from a doctor to no avail. Although your products have not cured the complaint I have seen a dramatic improvement in the affected areas and am hopeful that with continued long term use it will eventually clear up. I have also been using the eye gel and lip gloss myself and have found both products to be great.

I write to you to thank you for producing a natural product that curesringworm.
I contracted ringworm when on holidays and I tried many other products but nothing got rid of it. The ringworm was getting larger and it was very itchy. I have young children and I didn't want them to catch it as I know it is very contagious.

Hi,
I have been fighting headlice at school for years now (and spending a fortune on products that just don't work) and had just about given up when I decided to buy a bottle of your neem seed oil and give that a go. I am pleased to say that I have had incredible results from it. I mixed it with some conditioner and put it on my children's dry hair and left it on for a full day, then combed it out with a fine tooth comb. I will continue to do this every weekend. I also have been adding the oil to the water spay bottle that I use to do their hair with. Thank you very much. Our school is having their fete in August and I have suggested a head lice information stall. I will be running it. I was wondering if you would be interested in sending some literature of your Neem seed oil, shampoo and headlice. The school used my recipe in their newsletter yesterday.

This is one of my favourite products. An insect repellent with no nasty chemicals, gentle enough to use on the whole family even on my baby. Not only great as a repellent and to ease itching I've found it very effective in relieving the pain experienced following a bee sting. 3 products in one, in a handy roll-on. Wonderful product. I roll on a bit of the repellent on my arm and then massage it all over my arm. I do the same for legs and do it lightly on my forehead, cheeks and back of neck. I have not had a fly or mozzie etc come near me and it last for a lengthy period of time. Very rarely do I have to re-apply again. I also apply a little on my dog's ear and cheek area and the flies do not bother him.

I must say that Neem Oil has got to be THE BEST garden product I have ever used.
I have been gardening organically for 25 years
I have always used organic fertilizers and garlic or chilli sprays for the pest control
And nothing.. I mean nothing works like Neem seed oil
Last year my tomatoes were being eaten alive and the flies were driving me crazy we were getting the white moths and worms on all the plants
It was terrible - nothing was working
It was a first year garden (having recently moved) but it was the worst I had seen
I have been using the Neem oil now for 2 months or so and truly there just isn't a pest problem in the garden
And the flies well.....what flies?
And we live on the edge of the bush
I started out spraying twice a week

I would just like to thank neem australia for it's wonderful products. After 6 years and hundreds if not thousands of dollars later our little dog is now a complete part of the family. Have to tell you that we tried the Tree Extract & the Powder on our 3 cats with great success. All of the cats were in a bad state. One cat was especially affected, his back quite bloody from insect activity.
We tried the Tree Extract, and the effect was and is exceptionally good. He was immediately soothed. We continue to give all three cats the Extract as well as the Powder. The peace they and we the proud parents experience is truly wonderful.

Have used Neem for a while on kids and around the house and finding it works well on humans decided to give it a go on a horse recently purchased suffering from a very bad case of rain scald. Immediately after the first use, hair started to grow back and the horse wasn’t sensitive to touch. Even after heavy monsoonal rains, with constant application the hair has remained and is super glossy and soft and getting thicker everyday. Brilliant stuff. Smells a bit but WORTH it. Also fixed lots of black spots caused by biting insects on another horse.

What's the best way to beat BO?
As a cricketer, reporter Michael Slater spent a lot of time in locker rooms, so he knows all about the overwhelming aroma of sweaty armpits BO.
He sets out to find the best cure for BO.
What causes BO?
Our body has two and a half million sweat glands and at rest in a normal environment, we produce half a litre of sweat per day. It's not actually our perspiration that smells; BO is created when sweat mixes with the bacteria that live on our bodies.
At Westmead Hospital, microbiologist Tom Olma takes a swab from a normal underarm. A few hours later he has a happy colony of breeding bacteria as a result.
He explains that Bacteria basically are all over our body. In some parts of our body they're warmer than other parts. Our body also acts as a form of nutrients, so the bacteria basically grow. As they grow they break down nutrients and they form volatile fatty acids that when released we can smell, which then creates an odour.
We all sweat and all have bacteria — so how do we whack the whiff?
The test
Players from the Gordon Rugby Club are going to help Michael with some sniff tests. Sheree Shepherdson is the nose who knows; our fragrant and impartial judge.
Four of the players are given four different types of deodorant.
Four other players are not going to have any deodorant.
Sheree will judge the results after the players have exercised.
Zane is given an antiperspirant spray. An antiperspirant contains aluminium salts. These both block and shrink your pores, stopping you sweating so the bacteria have nothing to feed on.
Todd is given a roll-on deodorant. Unlike an antiperspirant, a deodorant lets you sweat but neutralises the odour and has an antiseptic for the bacteria.
If you're anti-chemical there are natural alternatives like crystals. These are mineral salts which you wet before applying and they form a layer on the skin that stops the bacteria.
Cam is given the crystals.
You can also make a homemade treatment by mixing up some baking soda and cornstarch. Add a few drops of essential oils and pat on. Mark is going to be the guinea pig for this one.
After the boys apply their different smell-repellers, Sheree does a pre-sweat sniff, giving each player a rating — one is a very nice smell, 10 is an awful waft.
Zane gets a zero because Sheree can't smell anything.
Cam gets a one;
Mark receives a one rating too and Todd gets a two.
For comparison, four more guys won't be wearing any products ... and even before the game, they're a bit whiffy.
The boys are going to get good and sweaty with a 30-minute game of footy. Sheree will then get sniffing again to see which product has worked best.
THE RESULTS
Zane was given antiperspirant and before the match he scored a perfect zero for his pit pong (with zero being perfect smelling and 10 gross). Sheree gives Zane a two.
Cam got a rating of one first time around after using the natural crystals and Sheree gives him the same rating after the game.
Mark started on one with a homemade powder. Sheree gives him a two after her post-game sniff.
Todd began with a two and now receives a five rating from Sheree.
In our little test, the natural crystals came out on top with no change.
Next was our homemade deodorant and then the shop-bought antiperspirant.
The least effective was the roll-on deodorant.
Was wearing underarm protection better than wearing nothing at all like our other four players? Michael has jumped from a one to an eight, giving him the highest pong factor. Dave and Sam are rated six and Matt seven.
The conclusion
The lesson is that wearing any antiperspirant or deodorant is going to help keep that BO at bay. And the natural and home-grown stuff seems to work just as well as the chemical products. It seems to come down to what you're happy using.
Fast facts
For women, shaving their armpits helps hygiene because the hair provides an even more fertile breeding ground for bacteria and a bigger surface area for moisture to cling to.
Young kids don't get BO but teenagers and adults do. This is because we're all born with some sweat glands but at puberty we develop another set called apocrine glands. These are concentrated in the armpits and groin, and they release stronger sweat, which odour-causing bacteria prefer.
